Sometimes a character comes to mind and I'm like, yup, I'm gonna knit that.
Turtle
Turtles are great and all, but not my favorite animal or anything (I prefer dragons... or otters). However, my 12th grade government class had this large project we had to complete and the theme was Yertle the Turtle. Short story long, kids go all out for the extra credit portion which is basically make something to go along with your paper. I don't have the knowhow to weld a turtle from a piece of metal or design a fully functional popup book (super impressive), but I do know how to knit!
*FYI: To start the head; Cast on 6 stitches and join in a round! Sorry about that!
Minion
I had been wanting to try and make a minion for some time and finally got around to it! You may not be an "Evil" villain, but it sure is nice to have a minion or two to help you out... or at least sit there for moral support! I was able to get my guy to stand, but it wasn't the most stable situation! If you are worried about it, you can sew the feet on differently to get a sitting minion!
